The short version: PolicyRadar does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We use GoatCounter for privacy-friendly page view counts — no cookies, no tracking, no personal information. Everything stored on your device stays on your device.
What we don't do

- We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any personal information through the website
- We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties

Local storage
PolicyRadar uses your browser's localStorage to save your preferences. This data never leaves your device — it is not sent to our servers or any third party.

Newsletter
If you subscribe to the PolicyRadar Weekly Deep Dive newsletter, your email address is collected and managed by Beehiiv, our newsletter platform. We use your email solely to send the weekly newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. We do not share subscriber emails with anyone.
Third-party services
- Beehiiv — newsletter delivery. Their privacy policy.
- GitHub Pages — website hosting. GitHub may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps). Their privacy policy.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) — serves the jsPDF library for PDF export. Their privacy policy.
- GoatCounter — privacy-friendly analytics. Counts page views without cookies, without personal data, and without tracking across sites. No information that could identify you is collected or stored. Their privacy policy.
Content sources
PolicyRadar aggregates publicly available content from government websites, news outlets, and policy publications. All content remains the intellectual property of its original publisher. We link to original sources and do not republish full articles.
Children's privacy
PolicyRadar is a general-audience policy information service. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Since we don't collect contact information through the website, we cannot notify you directly — please check back periodically.
